Time to Bloom
Found some yummy chalk pastels at St. Vincent De Paul Store Peterborough and finished off Friday colouring this beautiful Prima Bloom Girl by Jamie Dougherty that I got from Janine Alleystamp Stegman! (Check out the links in the side bar).
Art Journaling is a wonderful way to express yourself, explore your feelings and just have relaxing, meditative fun!
If you would like to know more about Art Journaling, please join us on Wednesdays at 1:00! You will learn many, many mixed media art techniques and many, many inspirational ideas about journaling, too! On the way we throw in colour theory, design insights and other artsy stuff! $15 1:00-3:00. These workshops are for complete beginners but more experienced folks will like them too!
You can also have a look at Faber-Castell's blog where it is art journaling month! Lots of beautiful inspiration!
Do you art journal yet?

A Gift With Class!
Hey, I have a great idea!
Buy your mom some class time with me!
Gift her with the chance to give her creativity wings and have a lot of fun!
Even better, give her a beautiful memory, too, and join her for a Mom/Daughter workshop!
If you live in the Peterborough area, come in to the store and sign up for classes at least 24 hours in advance. Can't decide on a class? Get a gift card! Yay! You are such a great kid!
And if you don't live near me, and your Mom loves to craft, get her some inspiring supplies from Alleystamp! Great prices and exceptional customer service! Tell Janine that I sent you!
